About shipping a vehicle with items/goods inside
When you ship a vehicle (especially to or from Hawaii), the vehicle must be empty of all goods and personal effects. You may leave the spare tire and tire jack inside the vehicle. All other items need to be removed because they add weight to the vehicle.

The gasoline level on your vehicle when you ship it
When you ship a vehicle accross the country, it doesn’t matter how much gas it has. However, when you ship a vehicle to or from Hawaii, make sure it has no more than 1/4 tank of gas when it arrives at the origin port.

If you are shipping household goods and vehicles at the same time
Your goods are shipped separately from your vehicle. The vehicle will be put on a flat bed while your shipment will be transported in a large truck.
